Taste the Commons aims to raise awareness about the ideas behind common good food: food sovereignty; community resilience; food commons; the right to food and the right to land... By working in collaboration with artists from different disciplines, we will help create engaging ways to share these ideas, getting people to think about how the food system works and how it could be different. We are currently discussing an orchard photography project and a film about the food commons. Other possible future plans include:
exhibitions
photography projects
mapping projects
intergenerational projects
oral history
heritage projects
community engagement
stand alone arts projects
community food stories event
wassailing tour
edible bus stops programme
local food systems film
reviving and building on/creating new local traditions
